Why does nobody talk about hammer drills for tiling?

I was in my bathroom in Austin last month, removing old tiles with a chisel and a regular drill, and I swear I spent 6 hours just on one wall. The tile adhesive was like concrete, I was sweating through two shirts. Then my neighbor Dan came over, saw what I was doing, laughed, and handed me his old Bosch hammer drill. Switched to the chisel bit attachment and that same wall took me 45 minutes tops. I felt like an idiot for not thinking about it sooner. The vibration does most of the work, you just guide it. Has anyone else tried using a hammer drill for demo work, or do yall still stick with a manual scraper?
