Just realized I was painting walls in the wrong order for 5 years
So I was doing my laundry room this weekend, about 10x12 feet, and I started with the trim like I always do. Then I did the ceiling, then the walls. My buddy came over to grab a beer and laughed when he saw my setup. He asked why I was painting the trim first when I was gonna cut in the walls right over it anyway. I told him that's just how my dad did it. He showed me his way, walls first then trim last, and honestly it saved me like an hour of taping and touching up. All this time I was masking off trim that I was about to cover with wall paint drips anyway. Anyone else grow up with a paint order that just never got questioned until someone called it out?

Thirty years of trim first here, and my dad still does it that way... I felt this one in my soul when I finally switched last spring.
