I finally gave in and bought a thermal camera attachment, kicking myself for waiting

Always figured those phone attachments were gimmicks for people who didn't know how to use a stud finder and a little patience. Picked up one of the $250 ones after my 3rd winter of chasing drafts near the basement rim joist in my 1952 place. Found two gaps in the insulation and a leaky window seal in about 20 minutes, stuff I never would've caught without seeing the temperature difference. Anybody else use one to track down hidden moisture or should I start there next?
