Swapping my corded drill for a brushless one after 12 years

I finally retired my old corded drill from 2008 last week, the one that weighed like a boat anchor and needed a 50 foot extension cord every time I built a shelf or fixed a fence post. The new brushless one cost me $140 at Home Depot, and it's scary how much lighter and quieter it is, plus no cord tangling around my legs. I mean, I always thought corded was the reliable way to go, but battery tech just got good enough that I don't miss the outlet at all. Now I'm wondering if I should ditch my corded circular saw next, has anyone else made that switch and regretted it or was it worth it?
