Paint sprayer vs roller for a 1,200 sq ft basement, sprayer won by a mile

I spent three weekends last fall with a roller on my basement walls in Columbus. My buddy talked me into renting a Graco sprayer for the ceiling and it took one afternoon. The finish is way smoother too. Anyone else waste days on rolling before giving in to the sprayer?
