My niece's towel pile sparked a weekend shelf build
She was staying with us and her stuff was everywhere, lol. We found some old boards in the garage and decided to make shelves. It was messy, but we got it done in a few hours. Now the bathroom is organized and she loves having her own spot. I'm pretty proud of our simple fix.

Cool project, but shelves for towels seems like overkill to me. Could've just tossed up a simple rack.

Actually, a simple rack is often enough for most bathrooms. It saves space and lets towels dry faster between uses. Extra shelves might just end up holding stuff you don't need.

What about the kid feeling like she belongs there though? A rack is just a rack, but building something together gives her a real spot that's hers. That matters when you're a guest, even with family. The shelves probably made her feel more at home than any store bought thing could. That's worth the extra effort to me.
