Just realized my garage floor slope was feeding water to the wall for 3 years
I repainted the workbench corner last weekend and found the concrete was visibly lower near the back wall. Checked with a 4 foot level and got a 2 percent drop toward the sill plate. That little tilt sent every hose drip and rain puddle straight into the framing. I'm planning to pour a self leveling patch about an inch thick in that strip, but I'm not sure if I should grind the whole bay first. Has anyone fixed a similar slope issue without pulling up the whole slab?
