Bought a cheap oscillating tool on a whim at Home Depot and it saved my kitchen project

So I was at Home Depot in Orlando last Saturday grabbing paint for the guest room, and I saw this oscillating multi-tool on clearance for like 30 bucks. I figured what the heck, I've always used a handsaw for flush cuts and it takes forever. Got home and realized I needed to cut out a notch in my kitchen countertop for the sink to fit right, and my jigsaw couldn't reach. That cheap little tool zipped through the laminate and particle board in under two minutes, no splintering. I spent more time measuring than actually cutting, which never happens with my usual methods. Now I'm wondering if I should upgrade to a better brand, or if the cheap one will hold up for occasional use. Has anyone else had good luck with the budget oscillating tools or do they burn out fast?
