The library's old atlas changed how I stain pages
I always stained edges with tea, but last week I found a 1920s atlas at the Seattle public library with this deep ochre tone, not brown at all. I tried mixing turmeric with coffee grounds and it came out exactly like that, now I never use plain tea. Anyone else found color ideas from old books instead of tutorials?
