Why does nobody talk about coworking burnout before you commit to it?
I used to think coworking spaces were the only way to stay productive on the road. For 2 years straight I paid $200 a month at different places in Chiang Mai and Lisbon, thinking I needed the community. Then last March I spent 3 weeks in a tiny town in Mexico with zero coworking options, just my Airbnb balcony and a local library. Turns out I got more work done alone than I ever did surrounded by other nomads. What convinced me was tracking my actual output, I finished 2 client projects in that time versus 1 in a busy space. Now I only book coworking for 1 or 2 days a week when I feel lonely, and save the rest. Is there a better way to test if you actually need coworking before paying for it?

Did you track your focus time too, or just finished work?
