That one harsh review about my slow wifi changed how I pick cities now

I got a comment on my travel blog from a guy in Lisbon saying my 'remote work setup' video was useless because I didn't mention how bad the internet can be in older apartments there. I used to just check cafe reviews and coworking spaces, but last month in Medellin I started testing the actual router speed before booking any place for more than 3 nights. Now I ask hosts for a speed test screenshot and I even carry a cheap ethernet cable, which saved me in a flat in Buenos Aires where the wifi dropped every 20 minutes. So which side are you on, do you book places based on location and vibe first and sort out internet later, or is a solid connection the first filter you use?
