Switching from hostels to monthly rentals was a game changer for my nomad life

Honestly, I used to hop between hostels for like 2 years, always chasing the cheapest bed. But after 6 months in Chiang Mai, I got sick of packing my bag every 3 days and never having a proper desk. Now I book one apartment for 30+ days and my work setup stays put, I cook real meals, and I actually know my neighbors. Tbh, the cost is about the same per night here in Medellin, but the calm is worth way more. Anyone else make the jump and find their focus went up too?

Chiang Mai's that cheap now but Medellin rentals ain't always to same price, depends on the area you pick.
