Rant: That co-working space in Chiang Mai ruined my routine
Was at Punspace in the old city last year and the WiFi went down for 3 hours right before a client call. Made me ditch open co-working for private rentals, has anyone else found certain spots just unreliable long term?

Renting a quiet room with a locked door solved the WiFi and distraction problems for me.

Three hundred dollars a month for a co-working space was what I paid before I gave up and just started working at my kitchen table. @emma349 I get why a quiet room with a locked door sounds nice, but it can get lonely and expensive real fast. My bigger issue was learning to say no to distractions myself, not just blocking them out physically. A rented room won't teach you the discipline to ignore your phone when the WiFi is open anywhere.
