Paid $200 for a 'co-working paradise' pass, got a closet with WiFi
Last month I landed in Chiang Mai and saw this hyped up co-working space advertised everywhere. The $200 monthly pass seemed worth it for the rooftop views and networking events they promised. Turned out the 'event space' was a cramped room upstairs and the AC barely worked past 2pm. I wasted nearly two weeks of productivity before I just started working from a local cafe for the price of a 60 baht iced latte. Anyone else get burned by fancy digital nomad memberships that look way better online than in person?
