Hit a full week of solid work in Medellin without a single internet drop
This past week in the Laureles area, my connection stayed up for all five work days, which never happens. I had three video calls over two hours each and even uploaded a 2GB project file on Thursday without a hitch. My local SIM card plan, which costs about $15 a month, handled everything perfectly. It's a small thing, but not having to scout for cafes or panic about deadlines changed my whole stress level. Has anyone else found a reliable spot or provider in Colombia that's been this steady?

Claro's prepaid plan never let me down either.

Exactly. Prepaid usually gets deprioritized but Claro's network handles it fine in my experience. Crowded spots downtown never slowed mine down noticeably.

That's a solid point about it never letting you down. I wonder if part of that reliability is because prepaid gets less network priority. They might put postpaid customers first during heavy traffic, so prepaid users feel the slowdown more. That could make a prepaid plan that does work well actually a better sign of strong local coverage. Has your service stayed good even at busy times, like in a crowded mall or at a game?
