Coworking pass vs random cafe hopping in Bali - not even close

I spent my first month in Ubud bouncing between cafes that claimed to have good wifi. Spent 45 minutes one morning just walking to three different spots that all had 'sorry wifi down today' signs. Bought a 2 week pass at a coworking place near the monkey forest for like $80. Steady connection, actual desk, and I got way more work done in 6 hours than I did in 8 hours at a cafe. Coffee was free too. Anyone else find coworking worth the cash or do you stick to cafes?

That $80 for two weeks near the monkey forest is actually a decent deal, but most coworking spots in Ubud run closer to $100-$120 for a two week pass now. I hit the same cafe wifi headache my first week and swore off it after losing a Zoom call in the middle of a pitch. Coworking is totally worth it for the peace of mind, even if the free coffee is usually just instant.

Heard a buddy of mine @jordan464 waste a whole afternoon hunting wifi in Canggu. Never again they said.

Swear by coworking spaces now after that same nightmare.
