Bali beach bar laptop saga: one drink, eight hours of work
I was in Bali last month and needed a spot to work. Found this perfect beach bar with great Wi-Fi. I bought one coconut water and set up camp with my laptop. Eight hours later, I was still there, and the bartender kept glancing at me. I felt pretty bad, so I ended up ordering dinner even though I wasn't hungry. It's a gray area, right? Like, how much should you spend to justify using a place all day? Still laugh about it now.

Camped out at a cafe for six hours on a single espresso once. The barista's stares were deadly. I got so guilty I bought three pastries I didn't need. Ate them all just to be nice and felt awful after. Now I stick to my home office to skip the guilt trip. Your coconut water deal was way smarter than my snack overload!

Oh man, @hunt.kevin, that guilt is so real! I've totally been there trying to make up for taking up space. Those barista stares make you want to buy the whole display case just to feel okay. It’s crazy how a cheap coffee can end up costing so much in pastry guilt. Your home office move is smart for sure, no one side-eyeing you for refilling your own water glass. That feeling after eating stuff you didn't even want just to be polite is the worst.
