No way! I did the exact same thing last year with my busted old tablet. Honestly, it felt so good to not just toss it in a drawer. I stripped the screen out, got a cheap drawing app, and now it's basically a dedicated sketchpad. Tbh it works way better for just doodling than my fancy new phone does, zero distractions. Giving old tech a second life is the best feeling.

Add a stylus to that setup for smoother lines. Turns a simple sketchpad into a proper drawing tool.
