Tbh I just found out that over 70% of artists on ArtStation barely get any views at all
I was digging through some analytics blog last night and saw this stat that something like 72% of uploads on ArtStation get under 100 views total. Made me wonder if the whole "post your work everywhere" thing is actually a waste of time for most people. Like half the community says you gotta spam social media to get noticed, but the other half says just focus on quality and the algorithm will push it. Which side actually works better for digital art? Has anyone here actually tracked where their showcase traffic comes from?

My own ArtStation page proves that "post your work everywhere" is just a great way to waste time I could have spent drawing. Statistically, that one piece of fan art I did three years ago gets more views than all my personal work combined. Maybe the real hustle is just being lucky enough to draw the right character at the right time.
