Spent 200 bucks on a drawing tablet I hated at first

I bought a Huion Kamvas 16 last month and honestly wanted to throw it out the window the first week. The screen calibration was way off and the drivers kept crashing on my Windows laptop. After tweaking the settings for like 4 hours straight it finally clicked and now I'm cranking out sketches way faster than with my old Wacom. Has anyone else had a rough start with a new tablet that turned around?

My first tablet was a hand-me-down Wacom Intuos that I dropped on my foot the second day, which honestly felt like a sign from the universe. Then I spent an hour trying to figure out why the pen wasn't working, only to realize I'd put the batteries in backwards. It's like these things have a mandatory hazing period before they let you actually draw. Glad yours finally clicked, mine still gives me side-eye every time I plug it in.

Nah man, some tablets just stay garbage no matter how much you tweak them.
