Picked Procreate over Photoshop for my first digital painting last month and it was a game changer

I spent 3 hours trying to figure out layers in Photoshop before I gave up and tried Procreate instead, and now I'm wondering if anyone else switched apps halfway through a project and never looked back?

Honestly, the whole "it's just an ipad app" gatekeeping is tired. I swapped from Clip Studio to Procreate mid-project on a comic and never looked back. The brush engine feels way more natural for sketching, and the recording feature is actually useful for tutorials. People get weirdly defensive about their software, but if it gets the job done faster, who cares?
