Just realized my new drawing tablet started ghosting after only a week

I got a brand new XP-Pen Artist 12 last Tuesday, and by yesterday the cursor was leaving faint trails behind it on the screen. I tried reinstalling the drivers and changing the USB port, but it didn't fix it. Has anyone else had a tablet fail this fast, and what did you do about it?

Wait, it started ghosting after just one week? That's crazy fast for a brand new tablet. I'd be so mad if that happened to me right out of the box. Ugh, that's rough. My buddy had the same exact tablet do something similar. His screen got weird lines after like ten days. He did what @derek_cooper said and checked every setting, but it was the screen itself. Ended up sending it back for a replacement, and the new one's been fine for months now.
