Just realized my layer masks got way cleaner after I stopped using a mouse

I used to do all my masking with a standard mouse for like 3 years... wrist started hurting so I grabbed a cheap Huion tablet from Amazon for $60 back in April. Now I can cut out hair details in under 10 minutes that used to take me half an hour. Has anyone else noticed a big jump in precision after switching to a tablet?

My buddy Dave from the photo club finally caved and got a Wacom small last month after watching me struggle through a headshot session. He texted me two days later saying he spent all night just practicing circling dandelion seeds on a black layer 'cause it was that satisfying. The jump was so quick he stopped using his mouse entirely by the end of the week, now he won't even touch it unless his pen battery dies.
