Had to choose between a cheap tablet and a used Cintiq for my digital paintings
I was saving up for months and finally had enough to get something better than my old $50 drawing pad. The choice came down to a brand new $300 tablet from a popular brand or a used Wacom Cintiq 13HD for $350 I found on Facebook Marketplace. I went with the Cintiq because I wanted that screen to draw directly on. First week was rough learning the setup and dealing with some driver issues, but now after 3 weeks my lines are way more natural and I don't miss the hand-eye disconnect at all. Has anyone else taken a chance on used gear and had it work out?

Did you also deal with that annoying driver headache at first? I scored a used Intuos that totally changed my game.

Oh man, totally get that driver headache. @diana_park it was such a pain for me too until I figured out the right settings. My Intuos helped a ton once I got it working.
