Wasted $800 on a 'rebuilt' injector pump that lasted 3 weeks
Picked up a remanufactured injector pump from a online seller for my '97 7.3 Powerstroke, figured it was a good deal compared to a new one at $1,400. It started leaking from the head seal on day 19 and totally died by day 21, so now I'm out the money and have to do the job all over again. Anyone else learned the hard way that rebuilt parts from no-name places are just a gamble?

Yeah man that changed my mind too. I used to think rebuilt was fine.

Makes you wonder if anyone's actually testing these things before they ship them out.
