Update on my old Detroit 60 Series injector pull method
For years, I'd fight with a slide hammer and a torch on those stubborn 60 Series injectors, you know, the usual battle. Then a guy at the Freightliner shop in Spokane showed me his trick with a bottle jack and a 3/8-inch grade 8 bolt as a push rod. I switched over last fall and haven't looked back since, it's way cleaner and puts zero stress on the head. Anyone have a different go-to method for these, or is the push rod trick pretty much standard now?

That's a slick trick. Do you just rest the jack on the valve cover rail, or is there a better spot to brace it?

Honestly @skyler_baker, that rail is way too flimsy, you need a solid engine lifting point instead.
