Swore off reman injectors for 15 years, then a 6.0 in Amarillo made me eat it
I always figured reman injectors were a gamble, so I'd rebuild or buy new no matter the cost. Then a guy rolled a 2006 F-350 into my bay in Amarillo with two dead holes and a $4,200 quote for new sticks he couldn't pay. I put in a set of remans from a shop down the road and it fired clean on the first crank, no haze, no miss, and he's put 40k on it since. Now I'm second guessing myself, what's the actual failure rate you guys are seeing on remans these days?
