400k on a 5.9 is no joke, that Cummins will outlive us all if you keep up with the basics. Quick heads up though, the 5.9 12 valve and the 5.9 common rail are two totally different animals when it comes to oil. My 12 valve eats 15w40 like it's going out of style and the samples come back clean at 300k, but my buddy's 04 common rail was making metal at 180k because those injectors beat the oil to death way faster. Which one are you running? That changes what the sample is actually telling you. Either way 400k is worth bragging about.
