Rant: Took me 3 tries to figure out a simple injector tick on a 2015 Cummins
Wasted 6 hours last month chasing a fuel pressure issue on a Ram 2500, swapped filters twice and pulled the pump before I noticed the #4 injector return line fitting was barely cracked, has anyone else had a fitting that looked tight but was actually loose?

That throw a wrench across the shop line got me @the_jade, honestly felt that one.

Man that's brutal, a barely cracked fitting after all that work is the kind of thing that makes you want to throw a wrench across the shop. Had something similar happen on a 6.7 Powerstroke where a return line banjo bolt was just slightly loose enough to cause a slow weep but looked tight by hand. Feel your pain on those phantom fuel issues that come down to something so small.
