Just realized using a zip tie to hold the fuel line clip open saved me 20 minutes on a 6.7 Powerstroke injector swap.

I was fighting that stupid plastic clip for the third time last Tuesday and remembered a YouTube comment about using a small zip tie to lock it in the open position, which let me slide the line right off without breaking it.

Notice how the best fixes are almost always the simplest ones that just kinda sit there doing their job quietly. Zip ties are like the duct tape of the mechanical world, I swear. You can use them for anything from holding a bumper on to organizing cables to apparently saving your sanity on a Powerstroke. It's like once you realize most of these stupid modern clips and fasteners are designed by someone who never actually had to work on the thing, you start looking for the cheap plastic hack that beats their "engineered" solution every time.

Honestly, the guy who first tried that zip tie trick deserves a medal. Took me years of swearing at those clips to find the easy way out.

Always used to just muscle those clips and break half of them. That zip tie trick is a game changer, saved me a ton of hassle last time.
