That 1998 GPS unit in my glovebox still shows roads that vanished in 2011
I pulled my old Magellan RoadMate 300 out last week and the map data still lists the old Route 9 bridge near Pine Bluff that got demolished 14 years ago, so has anyone else kept driving with outdated tech just to see how far off it'll get you?

...and honestly that RoadMate still knows more about my childhood than I do at this point. Mine has a whole shopping plaza that got bulldozed for a gas station back in 2009, so every time I take that exit I get a little tour of a ghost mall. The best part is when it tells me to turn onto a road that's literally a cornfield now, and I just sit there nodding like, "yeah, I see it, GPS, I see it." At this rate I'm probably gonna end up following it straight into a lake one day and just blame the satellite. It's a fun little time capsule though, even if it is a terrible navigator.
