Paid $80 for a dead iPod mini fix kit, one side says scam

The tools and parts revived my 2nd gen in an hour, but the replacement battery died after 3 weeks and the seller ghosted me. Anyone else gamble on revival kits for unsupported gear, worth it or total burn?

You call it a scam because the battery died, but the kit itself did what it said. I've brought back two old Nanos with similar packs, and yeah, the batteries are hit or miss, but you're paying for the board and tools too. Yours lasted three weeks, mine lasted six months, that's just the gamble with old stock. Ghosting sucks though, that part I get.
