After 8 years, I finally stopped hating my Zune's sync software

I used to swear the Zune desktop app was pure garbage, and I'd only drag music over when absolutely desperate. Then last month my laptop died and I had to rebuild everything from a backup, and somehow the old sync tool just... worked. It took 20 minutes to load my 3,000 song library, but it didn't crash once, and the album art actually matched the tracks. I think the issue was I always had a newer PC with USB 3.0, and this old 2011 laptop with USB 2.0 was slow enough for the software to keep up. Now I'm wondering if my hatred was just impatience, not the app being broken. Has anyone else gone back to unsupported software after years and found it's better on ancient hardware?
