The security guard at Rolling Acres Mall changed how I look at these places

He told me I was just taking sad pictures of trash until he pointed out the old tile pattern under all the dirt and showed me what the food court used to look like. Now I focus on what was there before it died, not just the decay. Anyone else ever talk to someone who worked in these malls back when they were open?

I've done this with a few old mall workers, they know where all the cool stuff is hidden.

Just ask the maintenance guys too, they know every hidden spot in the place.
