That old guy at the Orange Julius kiosk taught me something
Back in 2005 I was hanging out at the Westland Mall in Columbus, Ohio just killing time before my shift at the movie theater. This older dude who worked at the Orange Julius gave me a free drink and said "enjoy these empty halls while you can, soon it'll all be Amazon warehouses." We talked for 20 minutes about how the mall used to have a pet store and a tiny arcade where he met his wife. Anyone else have a random conversation with a mall employee that stuck with you years later?
