Noticed the old Piccadilly Cafeteria at Parman Manor is now a vape shop
I drove by the old Parman Manor Mall in San Antonio last weekend and the Piccadilly Cafeteria where my grandma took me after church every Sunday is now a wholesale vape distributor. That place had the best banana pudding and a weird floral wallpaper pattern I can still picture clear as day. Anybody else got a specific spot in a dead mall that just feels wrong seeing turned into something totally different?

Giant inflatable cow feels like the universe's way of saying "times change, deal with it.

Does anyone else feel a weird little pang in their chest when stuff like that happens? My grandma used to take me to the Piccadilly in Austin all the time for the fried okra and that weirdly good tapioca pudding. Now it's a mattress store with a giant inflatable cow on the roof. It's just jarring to see something so tied to good memories turned into something completely random and cold.
