Got locked inside a dead mall in Ohio for 45 minutes because I didn't check the hours

I was exploring the old Rolling Acres Mall in Akron last month and got so focused on taking shots of that weird 80s food court that I lost track of time. The security guy had already locked the main doors by the time I went to leave, and my phone had zero signal in that concrete basement hallway. I had to bang on a side exit for 15 minutes before a maintenance guy heard me and let me out. Has anyone else gotten stuck in one of these places because the posted hours don't match reality?

Man that Rolling Acres place is creepy as hell. I got locked in a mall in Youngstown once but it was intentional, weirdly enough. There's this guy who runs a late night flea market in the old Sears loading dock. He doesn't post hours anywhere because he wants it to stay underground. Showed up at 8pm one Saturday and the whole place was dark except for one flickering light. Thought I was in a horror movie. Ended up walking around for 20 minutes before I found a door propped open with a cinder block.
