Found a koi pond still running in a dead mall in Ohio

Checked out the old Chapel Hill Mall in Akron last Tuesday and the indoor pond was still bubbling, fish and all, while the rest of the place sat empty. Anybody else run into a working feature like that in an abandoned spot, or is this just a weird fluke?

Wait for the water bill to hit whoever owns that place and see how long the fish last once the pumps get cut off. A running koi pond in a dead mall isn't a sign of life, it's just a timer counting down to a really gross cleanup job. The real fluke would be somebody actually paying to keep that thing going out of spite.
