Realized my old Nokia 3310 still takes better calls than my iPhone 15

I was chatting with my buddy Dave at a diner last Saturday about how dropped calls are everywhere now. He pulled out his old 3310 and made a crystal clear 20 minute call with zero issues. It hit me that all this modern tech got us better games and cameras, but basic stuff like calling just got worse somehow. Does anyone else keep an old phone around just for the reliable parts?

My buddy Mark's grandpa still uses his old Motorola flip phone for calls. Swears he can hear a pin drop in the next room on it, while his daughter's iPhone drops out mid-sentence in a parking lot.

My buddy Josh found his old flip phone in a drawer and now uses it just for calls.
