That $300 meal kit subscription taught me 2 things about waste
Signed up for a 3 month meal kit plan back in March because I was tired of the same 4 dinners. Spent about $300 total before I canceled, and the real kicker is I still threw away half the produce every week because the portions are sized for people who actually eat kale. The recipes were fine but the packaging guilt was worse than the grocery store guilt. Has anyone else done the math on what these subscriptions actually cost per usable meal after the rot sets in?
