Saw something smart at the library computer lab
Tbh I was just printing some forms at the public library on Grand Ave and noticed they had all the monitors angled away from the windows. Asked the librarian about it and she said it stops people from reading screens through the glass with binoculars from outside. Never thought about physical spying like that but it makes total sense. Anyone else do stuff like this at home?

Got a roll of privacy screen film from an office supply store and put it on my home office window. Cuts the glare too so it's been a double win for my monitor setup. Real simple fix that took maybe ten minutes.

Man, that's such a smart move. I actually had a buddy who tried the exact same thing a few years back and he swore by it. He worked from a tiny apartment where the window faced right into his neighbor's kitchen, so it was either have the blinds down all day and work in a cave or deal with everyone's business. He picked up a roll from a big box store and said it was a total game changer. The glare thing was a bonus he didn't even expect, so it made his whole setup way better. I keep meaning to try it myself but haven't gotten around to it yet.
