Paid $160 for a phishing test bundle, got a PDF and a headache
I bought a security awareness kit from a random vendor last month because the sales rep promised simulated phishing campaigns and tracking. It turned out to be a 40 page PDF of generic tips and three outdated email templates from 2019. My team ran one test, and the fake emails went straight to spam, so we learned nothing about our actual vulnerabilities. I tried to get a refund, but their support stopped replying after two tickets. Has anyone else gotten burned by these so-called starter packs, or is there a legit free tool that works better?
