My two-factor auth move blocked a weird login try

Last week, I got an alert about a login attempt on my email (it was pretty scary, honestly). Since I had two-factor authentication turned on, they couldn't get in. What are some other simple steps I can take to boost my online safety?

Had the same thing happen last year with my old email. Changed every password for my important accounts right away. Started using a password manager to make them all different and strong. Also turned on two-factor anywhere it was offered. Checked my login activity for a while to make sure nothing else was weird. It's annoying but you can lock it down pretty fast.
