My buddy swore his password manager was bulletproof until he lost access to 47 accounts
My friend Dave kept pushing me to use this one password manager he found, said it was the best thing since sliced bread. Last month he updated his phone and the app wiped all his stored passwords because of some sync glitch. He spent 3 days resetting his email, bank, and streaming logins one by one. Now he's back to writing everything in a notebook, which honestly feels like going backward. Has anyone else had a password manager screw them over like that?

...and that's why I still keep a backup of my most important logins in a plain text file on an old flash drive I found in a drawer. Would love to hear how he recovers after that mess.

Wow, 47 accounts? That's insane, I'd probably lose my mind if that happened to me. Did he have any kind of backup or export option in that app?
