After my email was hacked (twice!), I doubt the need for frequent password changes.
Using different passwords for each site is more important than changing them.

Add a password manager into the mix and you'll only have to remember one strong master password. It solves the whole problem of creating and keeping track of unique ones.

Which manager do you use, @patricia78, because I need to pick one?

I was in the same boat last year, totally overwhelmed by all the options. Ended up going with Bitwarden because it's free and works on all my devices without any fuss. The hardest part was just taking an afternoon to set it up and change all my old passwords. Once that was done, it was a huge relief to stop trying to remember everything.
