2FA app vs SMS codes, the app won after my phone got hijacked
I used to think SMS codes were fine, honestly. Then last month someone ported my number out and got into my email before I even noticed. Took 2 days to get everything back. Switched to an authenticator app that same week and I can't believe I waited that long. Anyone else have a close call that made them switch?
