That moment I spent $60 on a switch tester and hated all of them
Last month I ordered this 36-switch tester from a site I found on Reddit. I was sure I'd love the Cherry MX Clears because everyone raves about them. But after clicking each one for like 20 minutes, I realized I hated the heavy feel and loud bottom-out noise. Turns out the only one I actually liked was some obscure Gateron yellow that I almost skipped. I was at my desk in Denver testing them and felt so dumb for not just buying a small sample first. Has anyone else bought a big tester and ended up liking the one you least expected?

Look I get where you're coming from but I had the exact opposite experience. Spent $45 on a 24 switch sampler and the Gateron yellows everyone hypes up felt way too light and scratchy for me. Ended up loving the Cherry MX Clears which I thought I'd hate because of the weight. Been daily driving them for two years now and the heavy feel actually helps me stop bottoming out so hard. Guess it just shows how personal switch preference really is.
