That $60 lube kit I bought was basically a scam

I spent almost 2 hours lubing switches with a cheap kit off Amazon and the brush shed bristles inside 3 of my switches. Took me another hour to desolder and clean them out with alcohol. Just buy a good brush from a hobby store for $5 instead, trust me on this. Has anyone else had a lube brush fall apart mid build?

I used to think any brush would work but yeah, that changed real quick after mine shed all over a freshly lubed board.

I mean, a little shedding never ruined a board did it? Are people really that picky about their brushes?
