Resoldered my entire board last night after one bad joint killed the spacebar

Got a new 60% kit from a group buy back in November, used it for two months before the spacebar started chattering. Tracked it down to a single cold joint on the controller pin, so I spent 4 hours reflowing everything this time with leaded solder. Has anyone else had a batch of switches that just refuse to cooperate?

Tbh I'm not convinced you needed to reflow the whole board. A single cold joint on the spacebar pin sounds like something you could've fixed with a quick touch-up instead of four hours of re-soldering everything. I've had a flaky switch before and just hit the one pad with flux and a dab of leaded solder, problem solved. Maybe you just wanted an excuse to tear it all apart and start fresh? I get it, soldering is kinda zen sometimes, but let's not pretend a whole board reflow was the only way to fix a spacebar issue.

Isn't that kind of half the fun though, just taking the whole thing apart?
