PSA: Watch out for those $15 switch pullers on Amazon

I picked up one of those cheap aluminum switch pullers from a no-name seller for about 15 bucks. First time using it on my Durock switches the legs bent right out of shape and I was out a whole set of 60 switches. Spend the extra 20 dollars and get a legit one from a place like NovelKeys or just use the plastic ones that come with most kits. Anyone else have a tool fail on them like this?

Oh no, that's brutal. I had a similar thing happen with a cheapo puller that claimed to be "ultra durable" and it just mangled the pins on some Gateron yellows I was pulling out. It's such a gut punch when you think you're saving a few bucks and end up blowing way more money replacing switches. I stuck with the little plastic wire ones that come in the bags ever since, they're foolproof.

Those little plastic wire pullers are actually safer. Less force.
